MAINTENANCE

I can safely handle much of the general maintenance issues required on guitars and sound equipment. Need an electric guitar re-wired or set-up for the best playing action? Got an amplifier that crackles or is unreliable? Puzzled why one piece of equipment won’t work with another? CONSULTANCY

With more than 40 years experience in the hands-on use of PA equipment, I have studied and built up a good knowledge about operating live sound systems in real situations. People are often confused by all those knobs, so I am happy to advise, and for a nominal fee, will spend time with you and your sound system, explaining connections and settings to help you get the best results.

CUSTOM MADE LEADS

We stock many types of standard audio lead, along with most types of connectors. However there are some situations where you may require a lead specially made to satisfy a particular situation. I use suitable good quality cable and connectors to produce most types of audio lead up to a maximum length of 50 metres - XLR, speakon, phono, 2 or 3 pole jack, etc.

DISCS, TAPES, CASES, etc.

If you need relatively small quantities of Recordable CDs, DVDs, even DATs, Minidiscs, Cassette Tapes, Cases or Labels, I can usually supply you. Our CD-R’s may not be as cheap as from your local computer store, because we only use professional quality discs that are optimised for audio. If your recording is important, it would be foolish to use anything else!

MOBILE SERVICE FOR SALES

If you are genuinely interested in buying PA equipment etc., and are reasonably local to us at Fareham, Hampshire, I may be willing to bring items to your home or business (subject to distance) for you to assess and select before purchase. This can be any day 8.00 am to 8.00 pm (subject to availability) and there is no charge for this personal service.

DESIGN AND PRINT

In addition to producing professional quality artwork for your CDs or DVDs, we may be of assistance in designing and printing short runs of publicity leaflets etc. Specialist printing companies tend to have minimum order quantities, so if you need a relatively small amount (typically up to 100), it is probably more cost effective for us to laser print them rather than you having to order many more than you need.
